Built for the Summer Designer Showdown using the clock as my inspiration. As soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to do and had a lot of fun doing it. This build contains more CC than I usually use because I just couldn't get what I wanted without it. All CC is from ModtheSims or Garden of Shadows.

There are lots of pictures.

Built for the BnS community project. Our current house is actually a unit with the driveway-side wall attached to another unit (and another and so on) and also with another at the back, but I just built it as a singular house. Our is my younger sister and myself - of course Sims, in their random adding of days when you create a new household, made her older than me. Read more... )

As the challenge for the week was to pick responses to a set of questions (not really questions but.. like A number between 2-7). I went with the first thing to come to mind each time, and ended up with the following story:

BuildnShare Week 59: Love Shack

The requirement for this build was 'a secluded romantic tropical hideaway'. I placed the lot just above a secluded beach (in a position I'd love to live myself... provided it gets good internet).

This week's challenge was purely interior design - working with a 'white box'. All furniture currently in the house had to be reused, but additional furnishings could also be used. The rooms could be switched around in purpose but no walls or rooms added.
